Allison Schachter, Associate Professor of Jewish Studies and English at Vanderbilt University, will discuss her new book, 'Women Writing Jewish Modernity, 1919–1939' (Northwestern UP, 2021) at the Jewish Studies Workshop. In conversation with Prof. Schachter will be Kenneth Moss, Harriet and Ulrich E. Meyer Professor of Jewish History, University of Chicago, and Jessica Kirzane, Assistant Instructional Professor in Yiddish, University of Chicago. This is a virtual event via Zoom.
