Description: 
Mehrdad Amanat, a fellow of the Iranian Studies Initiative at the University of California Santa Barbara, will present a lecture on the Jews of Hamadan during the period from the end of the nineteenth century to the 1920s. This lecture is part of a two-day conference held in honor of Prof. Heshmat Moayyad (1928–2018).
